Engineer Turned Flavor Maker
Anica Felton Crook -
Anica Felton Crook was trained as a mechanical engineer and built to create. The Detroit-born founder of Felton's Spice took the precision of a University of Michigan engineer and the drive of a Big Ten athlete, and put them into 39 ingredients made to honor her dad. Food & Beverage Magazine called her a Flavor Innovator. Her family calls it Dad's legacy.
The Story of Felton's
In Her Own Words
When my father passed suddenly in 2019, I found a profound clarity: it was time to return to the part of myself he always encouraged, the kid who sketched designs and watched him make the family-favorite ribs. Felton's Spice became my way to heal, to honor him, and to keep our family tree branch alive. Every bottle represents the journey back to my true passion: creation and culinary art, and the commitment to keep our family's legacy thriving.
A Legacy of Flavor
EM² Is Named for My Father
Everything I know about flavorful grilling, I learned from my dad, Ellis Marshall Jr. He was the quintessential 'Girl Dad'. He cooked with patience and fed people with love. EM² carries his initials, and his story is in every bottle.
